Saturday Night Music
Starting at 7pm a variety of live music will be performed every Saturday evening to get your weekend started with a bang. There will be different acts each week so pop along to see which one you like the most.
Chaos Music Night
Chaos Music will host a live music event on the first Thursday of each month. This will consist of one or two main bands perfroming along with an open mike session so bring your guitar along!
Food Menu
We are delighted to announce the reopening of our kitchen which is being managed and run by a new member to the Brown Lion team Andy Dodwell. Andy is a chef of great reputation and has constructed a varied and exciting menu to try to ensure that there is something to satisfy the palette of even the most discerning diner.
Freshly made sandwiches plus the full food menu is available 12 to 2.30 Monday to Saturday and again 5.30 to 9 pm. Cream teas shall be available all day and in between the kitchen opening times. Hot food is available on Sunday 12 to 5pm including a Sunday lunch option.
Wednesday will see a 10% discount off any Two Towers cask ale and food (excluding snacks,crisps etc).
Monday Night Curry Club
Curry Club every Monday at the Brown Lion - a choice of 4 curries including a vegan option. Just what you need to spice up your life!
The Birmingham Taphouse
The Brown Lion in the Jewellery Quarter is the newest Tap House in Birmingham, with fine ales from the Two Towers Brewery. We serve six real ales (including one vegan), as well a wide selection of international beers, wines, and spirits. We also serve Addlestone's draught cider in addition to a changing selection of cask and bottled ciders.
Free Tuesday's!
The first Tuesday of the month recive FREE cookies The second Tuesday of the month receive FREE bread, olives and dips. The third Tuesday of the month receive FREE pancakes The last Tuesday of the months receive a selection of Indian snacks. All free when you purchase an alcoholic drink.
Wheelchair Access
Whilst access for those in wheelchairs etc was not catered for historically access can be achieved via the emergency exit on the side of the pub.
It should be noted that the front step is around 7inches high, the step to the raised area in the back room is also around 7 inches, then a small step to the hallway and then three 8 inch steps to the toilet.
